Please join us at the Lakeland Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on May 31, 2010 for a wonderful and honorable Memorial Day of Remembrance.

MEMORIAL DAY – On Saturday May 22nd we will place the flags at Lakeland Memorial Gardens for Memorial Day  Monday May 31st. We will start at 0830 and lunch will be provided.  If we are not finished for some reason we will finish Sunday the 23rd at 1300.  Anyone wishing to participate in placing the Memorial Flags (5,000) please bring a small hammer, gloves, and a pocket knife.  We hope to see many because many are to be remembered on this special day.

Thanks

A Veteran - whether Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserve, is someone who at some point in their lives, wrote a blank check made payable to "The People of the United States of America" for an amount of "up to and including my life".

The Polk County Veterans Council
endeavors to unite all of Polk County's Veterans Organizations to better serve the
Men and Women whom have served our country so valiantly.
